The latest Wall Street trading sessions seem to indicate that market patterns are still giving investors and decision-makers in the economic sphere headaches. The stock market has been losing ground in large swaths so far in 2022, and it’s unclear when big Indices will start to recover.

Central Banks Change Direction

High levels of volatility and uncertainty among many market actors have characterised the story of the world economy in 2022. Markets from China to the US have gradually increased. As more people came out of quarantine and the demand for a variety of goods increased, inflation started to rise significantly above the ideal annualised rate of approximately two percent that central banks like the Fed typically seek.
