Nivritti Yoga
Nivritti Yoga, also known as the path of renunciation, is a traditional yoga practice that focuses on detaching from worldly desires and turning inward. It encourages individuals to cultivate a mindset of selflessness, non-attachment, and spiritual growth. Nivritti Yoga involves practices such as meditation, self-inquiry, and the study of spiritual texts to attain a state of inner peace and liberation. This path is often contrasted with Pravritti Yoga, the path of worldly duties and responsibilities. Nivritti Yoga is seen as a way to transcend the cycle of birth and death (samsara) by relinquishing ego-driven desires and focusing on spiritual realization.
