How good is your memory? What are the things that you tend to remember, or forget? Memory can be quite selective, or convenient; we tend to forget the important things. Yet we can recall in minute detail trivia, slights and upsets which are best forgotten. As Moses addressed the Israelites, he continued to challenge them to reflect on the most important aspects of their experience with God. “For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him? And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?
