Supernatural Encounter

The Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes, and be ready for the third day. On the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. Mark off a boundary around the mountain. Warn the people, ‘Be careful! Do not go up on the mountain or even touch its boundaries. Anyone who touches the mountain will certainly be put to death. However, when the ram’s horn sounds a long blast then the people may go up on the mountain,” (Exodus 19: 10-13). God was going reveal Himself to Israel in a spectacular way, but before this could take place, the people had to prepare themselves; and they had three days in which to do so. God instructed Moses to set boundaries around the mountain which must not be crossed.
